As a Business Development Rep, you'll engage in outbound sales, generate leads, and nurture client relationships to drive revenue growth for a SaaS company.

At SingleFile, we're disrupting a 120-year-old industry by rethinking how companies and law firms manage compliance work. We've built a platform that simplifies the repetitive, manual, detail-oriented compliance tasks that nobody wants to do—giving our users back their most scarce resource: time.

The Role

At SingleFile, BDRs are the engine of our sales growth. As our first point of contact with prospective clients, you'll build the pipeline that fuels our expansion in the legal and compliance space. This is a high-impact role where your outreach directly translates to revenue and company growth.

You'll identify, qualify, and nurture leads for our Account Executives—combining strategic research with creative outbound campaigns to start conversations with decision makers who need what we're building.

About You

You're a proven hunter with 2+ years of experience in outbound sales at a B2B SaaS startup—ideally in a subscription or recurring revenue model. You've lived the startup hustle: wearing multiple hats, iterating quickly, and thriving in ambiguity while hitting aggressive targets.

You're energized by the challenge of breaking into new accounts and love the creativity of testing different messages, channels, and approaches. You're data-driven but also understand that sales is about building genuine human connections. You know how to balance volume with personalization, and you're motivated by both activity metrics and pipeline results.

What You'll Do

  • Research and identify target accounts and key decision makers in legal, compliance, and corporate environments
  • Execute high-volume, multi-channel campaigns (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, video) to generate qualified opportunities
  • Engage inbound leads from marketing and determine fit, need, and timeline
  • Leverage HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and other sales tech to build lists, track outreach, and optimize your approach
  • Partner with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs and provide market intelligence that shapes our go-to-market strategy
  • Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene and consistently hit activity, meeting, and pipeline goals
  • Share insights with marketing and sales leadership on what's resonating (and what's not) in the market

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 2+ years in an SDR/BDR role at a B2B SaaS startup (subscription/recurring revenue model strongly preferred)
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota in an outbound-focused role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—you can write compelling emails and hold your own on discovery calls
  • Comfort with high daily activity volumes and a metrics-driven approach
  • Experience with modern sales tools (HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Outreach, SalesLoft, or similar)
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Located in Mountain or Pacific time zones (for alignment with our team and target prospects)

Bonus Points:

  • Experience selling into law firms, corporate legal departments, or investment firms
  • Familiarity with the legal or compliance space
  • Previous experience at a high-growth startup (Series A-C)
  • Track record of creative, standout outreach campaigns

About SingleFile

At SingleFile, we are rethinking the way companies and law firms manage compliance work. And in the process, we give people back more of their most scarce resource—time. How? We simplify repetitive, manual and detail-oriented compliance work, which frees people up for more rewarding activities. With SingleFile, our users have more time and the peace of mind that all the administrative stuff is under control.

Companies need to comply with state and local regulations wherever they operate. It’s important, detail-oriented work that nobody wants to do. Today, it’s managed with to-do lists and spreadsheets, which are hard to maintain and prone to inaccuracy. The alternative is to use one of the two large service providers that throw filing clerks at the problem. Very little has changed since the industry started over 120 years ago.

We help companies and their law firms do this job quickly, easily and precisely while disrupting a dated yet profitable industry. We partner with national law firms so that their clients can benefit from our services. We’re looking for a highly visible channel sales manager to play a pivotal role in owning and developing our relationships with top tier National Law Firms.
