The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading projects, solving complex problems, and improving processes while working independently and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities:- Drive disproportionate growth by developing new business and expanding key customer relationships.
- Lead direct sales efforts by delivering value‑based solutions supported by strong application engineering.
- Monitor market trends and customer needs, translating insights into actionable growth strategies.
- Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, R&D, Marketing, Pricing, and Supply Chain to support new opportunities and product development.
- Engage regularly with major OEMs and customers through frequent on‑site visits.
- Support the sales organization through lead generation initiatives, sales tools, training, and market intelligence.
- Utilize CRM to track opportunities, customer interactions, and industry insights.
- Represent Summit at industry trade shows, seminars, and association events.
Qualifications:- Engineering degree (Mechanical preferred) or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or product management.
- Proven ability to grow markets and influence cross‑functional teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively (50–70%).
