About the Role

The Business Development Manager will lead Avride’s market expansion with a strong focus on building partnerships and driving adoption within U.S. university campuses. This role is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, generating new business opportunities, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will bring a proven sales track record in higher education environments, with the ability to navigate decision-making processes at universities, student unions, and campus dining and facilities operations. A deep understanding of the delivery bot and autonomous mobility industry is essential.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute the company’s go-to-market strategy with a specific emphasis on university campuses across the U.S.
  • Leverage an existing network of higher education contacts to accelerate adoption and revenue growth.
  • Generate new business opportunities and close deals with campus stakeholders (administrators, facilities, dining services, and student groups).
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key decision-makers in higher education institutions.
  • Conduct market research and analysis with a focus on campus delivery and autonomous mobility solutions.
  • Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to university audiences.
  • Manage and expand the sales pipeline with a clear focus on the education vertical.
  • Track and report on sales performance, highlighting campus-specific successes and growth opportunities.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and innovations in campus mobility and delivery technology.
What You’ll Need
  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience, with at least 3 years focused on university or higher education partnerships.
  • Proven success in generating new business, closing deals, and achieving revenue targets within the campus and education sector.
  • Deep understanding of the delivery bot industry, autonomous mobility solutions, or related technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders (administrators, students, vendors).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

Candidates are required to be authorized to work in the U.S. The employer is not offering relocation sponsorship, and remote work options are not available.
