Business Development Manager for Webster & Webster Associates (REMOTE)

The Business Development Manager will identify market opportunities, expand sales, manage customer relationships, and develop business strategies for a software testing product line.
We are currently searching for a Business Development Manager in our software testing product line. As a BDM, you would be responsible for identifying opportunities and expanding sales for our products.
Position Description:
As a BDM in our code testing product line, your responsibilities would include:
- Identify market potential by qualifying customers.
- Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products, processes, and services.
- Identify, specify, and propose solutions to existing or potential customers.
- Develop and implement business development plans to meet product line and sales goals.
- Manage and expand continued business with key customers; identifies needs to be filled and work with internal groups to fill these needs.
- Proactively initiate customer contact on a regular basis to develop positive, long-term, business relationships.
- Conduct demonstrations and customer workshops to promote the tools within customer organizations.
- Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and providing feedback from customers.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven track record developing and closing business opportunities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills including verbal and listening skills.
- 5+ years of embedded software development experience with C/C++.
- Experience with real-time operating systems such as VxWorks, Integrity, DDC-I DEOS.
- Experience with embedded development environments.
- Experience with certification standards (DO-178C, IEC 62304, ISO 26262, IEC 61508) is desirable.
- Automotive industry experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of software development process including CI/CD/CT use cases.
- Ability to work in a team environment with a sense of urgency to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to wear several hats to perform various product line responsibilities.
