ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to Sales Manager, Regional Public Sector, this role will need an experienced sales person who can deliver our significant growth ambitions for Regional Public Sector within UK North territory.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to assume responsibility for driving new business by demonstrating industry, systems and trend knowledge.

 

If successful, you will sell our portfolio of records and information management, digital solutions and asset lifecycle management solutions into new prospects to increase revenue, growth and quota attainment.

 

What you will bring

To be considered you will have a significant direct solution sales experience, selling business services, business process outsourcing, archiving or similar offering. In addition, candidates possess the following:

 

  • Strong background and proven experience of strategic new business hunting, enterprise level, sales process and solution selling.

  • Proven background selling into Regional and Local Government, Police, Education and larger Housing Associations and Charities.  

  • Experience of working with channel partners and systems integrators(SIs) 

  • The ability to develop solutions that map to customer requirements.

  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.

  • Strong interpersonal, planning, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to influence and negotiate.

  • Ability to make decisions, think in broad terms, considering the impact on the company.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of Iron Mountain and customers (to include C-level) on a wide range of topics and issues.

 

What you will bring
