Responsible for driving strategic growth through the development of servicer-focused partnerships. This role engages mortgage servicing organizations to analyze servicing portfolios and identify opportunities to offer HomeSafe Second as a second-lien mortgage solution that supports borrower retention and financial flexibility. The position operates with a high degree of autonomy and requires executive-level relationship management and consultative sales expertise.
• Identifies, targets, and develops new business relationships with mortgage servicers and financial institutions with existing servicing portfolios.
• Engages senior and C-level executives to present, position, and sell HomeSafe Second as a strategic second-lien solution for their borrower base.
• Analyzes servicing portfolios in collaboration with internal teams to assess borrower needs and potential program fit.
• Independently manages the full business development lifecycle, from prospecting through negotiation and execution of partnership agreements.
• Partners with Compliance and Legal teams to negotiate commercial terms and partnership structures in alignment with company strategy and risk guidelines.
• Serves as a subject matter expert on reverse mortgage products, second-lien solutions, and servicing-related use cases.
• Maintains a strong understanding of mortgage servicing trends, borrower behavior, and regulatory considerations impacting portfolio strategies.
• Represents the organization at industry events, meetings, and conferences as needed to support relationship development and brand presence.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in the mortgage industry, with a focus on business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.
• Demonstrated success selling complex mortgage or financial products to senior and executive-level decision-makers.
• Strong understanding of mortgage servicing operations and portfolio-based sales strategies.
• Proven ability to operate independently in a high-autonomy, field-based or external-facing role.
• Advanced negotiation skills with experience structuring and closing partnership agreements.
• Excellent executive communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
• Strategic, consultative sales approach with the ability to identify borrower and partner value propositions.
