We are looking for a Business Development Director – Microsoft to join our Sales team. As a Business Development Director – Microsoft, you will be responsible for:

Requirements:

  • Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification to proposal and close—for new client acquisition.
  • Sell Microsoft cloud solutions (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure, Security) and implementation services, positioning Citrin Cooperman as a trusted transformation partner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft’s internal sales teams, operating in an alliance partner model to co-sell and drive joint opportunities.
  • Source opportunities through conferences, field marketing events, cross-selling to existing clients, and outreach to prior prospects.
  • Target C-suite executives (primarily CFOs, CIOs, and CTOs) at companies with complex financial, operational, and technological needs.
  • Articulate Microsoft’s value in ERP, CRM, security, AI, analytics, and cloud modernization.
  • Collaborate with internal technology experts and service line leaders to create high-impact proposals and contracts.
  • Represent Citrin Cooperman and the Microsoft alliance at strategic events, webinars, and networking functions.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in Dynamics CRM.
  • Continuously refine sales strategy with internal colleagues to maximize growth.
  • Be a senior-level sales professional with 10+ years of success in B2B consultative sales, ideally in ERP, SaaS, or professional services.
  • Experienced in alliance or channel sales, with a track record of building productive relationships with technology partners.
  • Experience with Microsoft solutions (Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, security, Azure, Power Platform) is required.
  • Be a hunter with a strong personal network and experience selling C-suite.
  • Be a trusted advisor who can uncover client pain points, craft compelling value propositions, and close complex deals.
  • Be motivated by achievement, commissions, and the opportunity to grow your influence within a respected brand.
  • Be a team-oriented self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience negotiating proposals and closing high-value engagements in the upper midmarket or enterprise segment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support relationship-building and deal execution.
