The Opportunity:

We're looking for a highly energetic and deeply connected Business Development Manager to spearhead our customer acquisition efforts within the Artificial Intelligence market. This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven individual with 2-3 years of experience in the AI space (product, sales, or VC) and a passion for building relationships to directly fuel our growth in a thriving market. If you're a natural networker with a hunger for impact and upside, this role is for you.

What You'll Do:

You will be at the forefront of our AI growth, responsible for:

  • Actively leveraging your existing network within the AI ecosystem (enterprise AI companies and/or major AI-focused VCs) to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

  • Scrappily identifying and engaging with potential clients who can benefit from our AI solutions.

  • Developing and executing proactive outreach strategies to build relationships and generate leads.

  • Attending industry events, conferences, and undertaking city visits to continuously expand your network and identify new prospects.

  • Articulating the value proposition of our AI solutions clearly and enthusiastically to potential clients.

  • Collaborating with our technical teams to understand our offerings and effectively communicate their benefits.

  • Driving the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing new business deals.

  • Maintaining meticulous records of your networking and sales activities.

  • Contributing to our overall business development strategy with insights gained from your network and market interactions.

What You'll Bring:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Based in NY or SF.

  • A love for being social, attending events + conferences. 

  • 2-3 years of professional experience within the Artificial Intelligence space, ideally in product, sales, or venture capital.

  • Sales experience background or partnerships background

  • A strong and established network of relationships within enterprise AI companies and/or major venture capital firms investing in AI.

  • A demonstrated passion for networking and building meaningful connections within the industry.

  • A scrappy and proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.

  • A low-ego, hungry attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow.

  • The ability to understand and articulate the value of AI solutions.

  • A willingness and enthusiasm for travel to industry events and client meetings.

Bonus Points:

We'd be particularly excited if you also have:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role.

  • Familiarity with SaaS business models.

  • A track record of contributing to business growth through networking.
