Job Description
The Business Architect Sr. Consultant II role will support the development and drive solutions forward that allow our organization to reach its goals by partnering with technology, business stakeholders and user experience. This role sits within the Sales and Distribution business team, and supports our Agency Service Takeout Strategy, which reimagines the exclusive agent service ecosystem so agents and staff can focus on delivering impactful customer needs while routine service is handled through streamlined processed and new technologies.
You will be the key bridge between business and technology stakeholders to both uncover and drive the change forward. This role requires somebody who can evaluate and uncover current opportunities, influence and support the strategic development of a solution, and drive the development and implementation of the solution alongside our tech, supporting business and user experience partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Translating business requirements into technical specifications and guiding the implementation of initiative, operating at the capability-level, in support of broader platforms, and developing functional systems flow to ensure the efficacy of new capabilities.
Support Lead Business Architect and assist with execution of initiatives, proactively engaging with field stakeholder groups to collect insights and feedback.
Help guide the implementation of the initiative, collaborating with stakeholders to align business strategies with technology solutions, working with other product owners to ensure integration between capabilities within a platform.
Analyzing, understanding and recovery of the organization’s current business processes, goals, and objectives.
Identifying opportunities for improvement, optimization, and reuse within the business architecture while adhering to design principles and user experience.
Use customer feedback, detailed market analysis, and data gathering to provide recommendations on decisions about product strategy and iterations
Engage in discovery/test and learn activities to quickly validate assumptions and capability or solution direction to achieve business results
Assist in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of business architecture solutions and making recommendations for enhancements as needed, performing process development, improvement, rollout, and integration activities, and optimizing process oversight with process agility.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
3 or more years of related experience (Preferred)
In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Ability to obtain and apply working knowledge of insurance industry.

Ability to validate and prioritize product backlogs by leveraging customer-centric thinking, discovery and research, rapid iteration, and lean practices.

Compensation offered for this role is 90,700.00 - 153,925.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
