Role Overview
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for driving requirements clarity, stakeholder alignment, and delivery support across client engagements. This role acts as a key liaison between clients and technical teams, ensuring business needs are clearly understood, documented, and translated into actionable work items that support successful delivery.

The Senior Business Analyst focuses on facilitating communication, managing dependencies, and ensuring that delivery teams have the information needed to execute effectively, while maintaining strong relationships with client stakeholders.

This is an active position.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Engagement and Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders on requirements, scope clarification, and delivery coordination
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and requirement discussions to understand business needs and priorities
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders and delivery teams
  • Communicate requirements, updates, and risks clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ensure alignment between client expectations and delivery timelines

2. Requirements Management and Documentation
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements in a structured and traceable format
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation
  • Ensure requirements are complete, testable, and aligned with agreed scope and business outcomes
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, delivery milestones, and released functionality
  • Support ongoing clarification of requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle

3. Delivery Execution Support
  • Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and Technical Teams to ensure requirements are well understood and actionable
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release readiness activities
  • Track dependencies, assumptions, and risks that may impact delivery timelines or outcomes
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) planning, coordination, and validation
  • Assist in ensuring readiness for releases, including requirement sign-off and stakeholder communication

4. Change and Scope Coordination
  • Support impact analysis for changes to requirements, scope, or timelines
  • Ensure changes are documented, communicated, and aligned with project objectives
  • Monitor scope alignment and escalate potential risks or deviations as needed
  • Maintain clear documentation of decisions, assumptions, and requirement updates

5. Process and Delivery Support
  • Contribute to improving requirement management and documentation practices
  • Support consistent delivery processes and communication standards across engagements
  • Maintain accurate documentation to support delivery continuity and knowledge transfer


Qualifications and Experience
Required:
  • 5–7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
  • Experience in eCommerce or complex delivery environments involving APIs, integrations, SAP/ERP, PIM systems, and Salesforce
  • Strong experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and traceability
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops, interview stakeholders, and translate ambiguous needs into clear requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in business terms
  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills in fast-paced environment

Preferred:
  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Strategy, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, consulting, or advisory engagements
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies, including AI/ML and Agentic AI, and their business applications


Compensation
The base pay range for this role is CA$70,000 – CA$90,000 per year.
