About the role
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with strong eCommerce expertise to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Commercetools, a solid understanding of subscription models (e.g., Zuora), and a proven track record of supporting scalable eCommerce solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements and ensuring successful project delivery.
What you'll do
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for eCommerce platforms, subscription models, and related integrations.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and workflows for development teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable eCommerce and subscription solutions using Commercetools and Zuora.
- Identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities in current business processes and propose improvements.
- Support solution design by providing detailed analysis of eCommerce features, product catalogs, pricing, and subscription workflows.
- Participate in project planning, testing, and user acceptance, ensuring deliverables meet business and technical requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Stay up-to-date with eCommerce and subscription management best practices and emerging trends.
Who you are:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on eCommerce solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Commercetools and familiarity with subscription platforms such as Zuora.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce processes including product catalog management, pricing, promotions, and order/subscription workflows.
- Experience creating functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and use cases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to bridge business and technical teams.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and manage multiple priorities.
