Position Overview:
Clientis seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a State Hospital/psychiatric healthcare environment. The BA will work closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, improve processes, and translate business needs into Agile/SAFe deliverables. On-site engagement is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, document, and validate business/functional requirements.
Translate requirements into user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement sessions.
Perform process mapping, gap analysis, and workflow improvement.
Participate in SAFe ceremonies, backlog refinement, and PI Planning.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, and stakeholders.
Support UAT, test scenarios, and requirements traceability.
Prepare BRDs, process documentation, status reports, and related deliverables.
Required Skills:
5+ years of BA experience in a psychiatric, behavioral health, or clinical care environment.
Hands-on experience with SAFe/Agile methodologies and ceremonies.
Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and process-mapping skills.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, MS Office/365, or equivalent.
Strong stakeholder communication and analytical/problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
SAFe certification.
State government/public-sector healthcare experience.
Behavioral health, psychiatric operations, or EHR experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, IT, or related field.
