Leidos is seeking a Business Analyst & Tester to support our VA Programs (C&P / MMS)
This program provides high-quality, effective, and efficient Information Technology (IT) services that support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in delivering care to Veterans at the point-of-care and throughout all stages of their healthcare journey. This includes ensuring timely, secure, and compassionate delivery of benefits and services, leveraging modernized IT systems to meet mission goals. Specifically, the Compensation & Pension (C&P) Product Line focuses on driving digital modernization efforts, enhancing system integration, standardizing record sharing, and replacing legacy systems to improve the timeliness and accuracy of benefits processing for Veterans.
Candidate MUST:
be located in the UNITED STATES for the current three consecutive years, be a US Citizen or US Person (Green Card Holder) with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
DUTIES:
- Serve as a Business Analyst supporting the VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) Help Desk and Deployment Support program
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements; develop process flows, SOPs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Distribute bi-weekly deployment release plans,
- Create, edit and distribute weekly schedule (Crisp-patch)
- Support pre-scrum, scrum, and weekend deployment activities
- Act as a liaison between VA stakeholders, operations teams, and technical staff to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented in a timely manner
- Support system deployments, including readiness activities, rollout coordination, and post-deployment stabilization
- Perform testing on MMS initiatives across UAT and Pre-Production environments
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements
- Validate end-to-end workflows and system functionality in UAT to ensure alignment with VA business needs
- Ingest customer-provided packets into the Pre-Production environment and verify data integrity and system behavior
- Execute testing in Pre-Production to validate deployment readiness prior to production release
- Document, track, retest, and validate defects through resolution to ensure solutions meet VA and MMS quality standards
- Support VA Program Management (PM) leadership
- Support RFI/RFP documentation and provide cross-functional communication between teams
- Provide weekly C&P updates for leadership’s 5_15 report
Required Education and Experience:
- Education: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of prior relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience: Candidates should have experience in business analysis, testing, and VA operations, including gathering and documenting requirements, supporting system deployments, and performing testing across UAT and Pre-Production environments.
Preferred:
Experience working on government contracts
supporting a Veteran's affairs program
