Description

Azumo is looking for a Business Analyst to lead software development initiatives and other personalized development projects. The position is FULLY REMOTE based in Latin America.

As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate cross-functionally with business and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. 

The position demands a hands-on, results-oriented individual who is adept at gathering and analyzing business requirements, managing project backlogs, and ensuring effective task management throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business teams and technical engineering teams to understand, document, and analyze business requirements.
  • Manage and prioritize project backlogs, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Employ Agile methodologies to define and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that requirements are translated into functional solutions.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust priorities as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Actively participate in discovery processes - generating the documentation that will be useful for future phases.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Fluent in English (essential)
  • Experience working within Agile environments, particularly Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience with JIRA and Notion
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and maintain focus on key objectives
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work across cross-functional teams
  • The candidate’s experience as a PM will be evaluated.
