As a Business Analyst- Global Screening Operations in Digital & Platform Services, you will be responsible for driving operational efficiency and change initiatives by leveraging data and process analysis and you will play a pivotal role in introducing logic into the Fircosoft Filter, to maintain an appropriate hit rate and prevent repetitive false matched items from stopping for review and will be responsible for creating project/on-boarding related screening logic. You will also be involved in data gathering, analysis, and testing for hit rate mitigation and regulatory screening list updates and work alongside others with various data to create meaningful analysis to mitigate false positive volume while keeping a priority on minimizing risk.
Job responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret data sets from varied sources, utilizing your expertise in data analytics to uncover patterns and provide insights that support operational initiatives such as hit rate mitigation, on-boarding fine-tuning, and regulatory screening list updates.
  • Develop and implement automation strategies to optimize processes, leveraging your knowledge of systems architecture and automation technologies.
  • Assist in the design and development of solutions that support the implementation of business strategies, applying your strategic thinking skills to evaluate potential scenarios and risks.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects, coordinating efforts, sharing knowledge, and leveraging diverse perspectives to solve complex problems and drive organizational success.
  • Offer insights and recommendations to team members, ensuring tasks and responsibilities are aligned with business objectives for efficient and effective outcomes.
  • Build test cases and conduct rigorous testing to ensure the accuracy, effectiveness, and risk-averse nature of solutions and exceptions implemented to reduce false hits.
  • Minimize risk and implement strategic measures to prioritize risk reduction, balancing false positive mitigation with regulatory compliance.
  • Take ownership with responsibility for finding, understanding, and fixing problems related to hit rate mitigation and regulatory screening and ensure accountability and drive solutions from inception to successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including onshore partners, clients, internal/external customers, and compliance, to ensure seamless process operations and manage escalations.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Baseline knowledge or equivalent expertise in data analytics, with the ability to interpret models and diagrams to represent and communicate data requirements.
  • Proficiency in using automation technologies to support and implement optimization initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from different departments, disciplines, geographically distributed and culturally diverse groups and areas of expertise within an organization.
  • Experience in SQL, Excel and other software applications, digital platforms, and other technological tools to solve problems and improve processes
  • Ability to generate new and useful ideas, obtain buy-in, and execute in order to deliver a solution that adds value.
  • Understand software delivery Lifecycle and have skills in industry standard methodologies and related tasks.
  • Experience working with strong communication and presentation skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Baseline knowledge of Fircosoft or equivalent expertise in data analytics, with the ability to interpret models and diagrams to represent and communicate data requirements.
  • Capability to leverage artificial intelligence for enhanced data analysis and the provision of actionable business insights.
  • Proficiency in implementing automation solutions to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Expertise in applying customer service skills to understand client needs and deliver tailored business solutions.
  • Skill in utilizing conflict management techniques to resolve stakeholder issues and facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Developing capability to craft clear and effective prompt writing to guide data analysis and ensure consistent outcomes.
  • Competence in using AI tools to analyze business trends and support strategic decision-making
