From planning to installation, we deliver exceptional, sustainable outcomes and continuously improve processes to create positive experiences for our clients.THE OPPORTUNITYAs a BUILT Designer, you are responsible for the comprehensive design, documentation, and coordination of DIRTT and other modular construction solutions. This position requires advanced technical proficiency, attention to detail, and strong collaboration skills. The Designer ensures that all project deliverables meet organizational standards for quality, accuracy, and client satisfaction.WHAT YOU WILL DO- Develop and document DIRTT and modular construction solutions using ICE, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Prepare design coordination packages, submittals, and shop drawings.
- Generate production files, pricing support materials, and specification documentation.
- Manage finishes, materials, and custom design elements.
- Coordinate design requirements with architects, designers, engineers, and contractors.
- Participate in project meetings to review design progress and resolve issues.
- Ensure design intent aligns with installation feasibility and project logistics.
- Evaluate site conditions to support installation estimating and planning.
- Conduct quality reviews and resolve design‑related issues prior to order entry.
- Maintain project documentation including revisions, RFIs, and punch‑list items.
- Support project close‑out with final adjustments and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in interior design, architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum two years of experience in interior design or architectural setting, preferably involving modular construction.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and technical specifications.
- Strong collaboration skills with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, 3D visualization tools, and DIRTT ICE software (preferred).
- Knowledge of interior construction systems including lighting, electrical, HVAC, and architectural components.
- Ability to analyze site conditions and support installation planning.
- Expected annual pay range $54,000 - $67,500 based on experience.
