Job DescriptionSalary Range: $113,780-$142,225 per year
Purpose of Position:
- To manage all functions and all assets associated with the production of quality hatching eggs at the lowest possible costs for the Colorado Breeder Complex.
- Manage breeder production issues.
- Oversee execution of plan for placements; vaccinations; bird movements; pertinent paperwork.
- Meetings with staff and ranch managers
- Meet with vendors to obtain project bids/recommendations and deal with billing issues.
- Provide oversight to feed mill to maintain corporate goals and standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science or related field is desirable.
- Must have 5+ years in breeder management.
- Must have a high level of initiative and be a self starter.
- Must have strong analytical skills.
- Must have good interpersonal skills.
- Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Must have good organizational and time management skills.
- Must have good computer skills.
- Must have ability to follow and enforce all company policies.
