Whether coordinating high-level messaging for the C-suite, interacting with journalists to drive breaking news or launching a campaign around our latest innovation, our teams lend their voice to the future of communication.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Sling Brand Marketing team is accountable for driving the brand strategy, planning, messaging and consistency across the marketing organization. A big component of brand marketing includes the designing and execution of the experience plans. These campaigns are used to create a strong brand halo that improves perception and ultimately drives new customer acquisition.
Key Responsibilities :

  • Help define the target audience and buyer persona for new campaigns and products - informed by primary & secondary research, behavioral data, and competition
  • Assist with the positioning & messaging for new initiatives to promote the Sling Brand (naming, key RTBs, key visual assets), defended rigorously by data & insights (partnering with Consumer Insights team)
  • Develop thoughtful and detailed briefs (often in collaboration with cross-functional partners)
  • Collaborate closely with PR, Social Media, and other teams to develop communication strategies to expand reach and engage new and former consumers
  • Help to lead Sling product innovation pipeline ideas through market research, user feedback, and brainstorming sessions
  • Develop product strategies that solve customer and business problems
  • Partner with creative agencies to craft brilliant & hard working communications that drive business results
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee logistics, analyze performance metrics, and drive engagement to create memorable brand experiences and products
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in the market that can inform innovation ideas
  • Manage and prioritize a workload of multiple projects with a variety of stakeholders from concept to completion


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, or related field with a minimum of 4+ years experience in brand marketing, strategy, production, or campaign management
  • 1-3 years of experience in guiding product innovation pipelines from inception to market release and promotion, ideally within the video, mobile, or similar space


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Track record of building brands and managing campaigns and product launches
  • Strong analytical skills, you will constantly need to parse diverse data sets to reach insights and drive business action


Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
