🎨 About the Role
We’re looking for a Brand & Marketing Designer to help define and evolve Medbill AI’s visual identity as we scale to millions of users. You’ll bring our mission to life across every customer touchpoint—marketing, product, content, and beyond. This is a rare opportunity to shape the brand of a high-growth, mission-driven startup with a strong product-market fit. You’ll work closely with our marketing and product teams, report directly to our CEO, and have the space to take creative ownership over a broad range of projects.
The full-time position is hybrid, with 3/4 days in the office in NYC. While we fill the full-time role, we're looking for a freelancer who can work remotely NYC-time for 20+ hours a week for at least 3 months.

Craft and Evolve Our Visual Identity: Help shape and refine a cohesive visual language across product, marketing, and internal assets.

Design Across Channels: Design our marketing website, campaigns, social media, email, paid ads, internal decks, and in-app brand moments. Find and manage top external experts with specific niche creative skills.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with marketing, product, and leadership to bring our brand strategy to life.

Build Foundational Systems: Create scalable brand guidelines and asset libraries to support fast, high-quality design.

Tell Our Story: Translate complex and emotional ideas into clear, human-centered visual communication.

Deliver with Excellence: Set a high standard for craft and consistency across all deliverables.

Bring 4-7 Years of Experience: With 3+ years in brand or marketing design in consumer tech.

Have a Strong Portfolio: Showcasing your ability to build and evolve brand systems and marketing creative that performs.

Are Conceptually and Visually Strong: You can take a big idea and run with it, balancing creative vision and real-world execution.

Understand Design Systems: You’ve created and documented scalable systems and brand libraries before.

Are Multi-Disciplinary: Expert in Figma and most of the Adobe Creative Suite, excels at designing websites and digital formats, and is fluent in video, animation, motion, and illustration.

Communicate and Collaborate Well: You’re clear, responsive, and thrive in fast-moving, feedback-rich environments.

Are Motivated & Self-Directed: You’re self-motivated & comfortable working independently
