Brand Development Representative  Field Marketing | Retail Engagement | Cannabis Industry 

Do you love being on the dispensary floor, connecting with people, and turning products into unforgettable experiences? 

The Clear is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and self-motivated Brand Development Representative to serve as the face of our brand in Colorado. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in retail environments, enjoys educating consumers and budtenders, and knows how to create excitement around premium cannabis products.

Important: This role requires frequent travel throughout Colorado. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory. Mileage reimbursement is provided. 

What You'll Do 

  • Represent The Clear at dispensaries, pop-ups, trade events, and community activations throughout Colorado 
  • Build strong relationships with budtenders, store managers, and retail teams 
  • Conduct engaging product trainings and educational sessions 
  • Execute in-store demonstrations and promotions 
  • Set up, maintain, and refresh branded displays and merchandising materials 
  • Increase participation in budtender incentive programs, contests, and brand initiatives 
  • Support sales initiatives and collaborate closely with internal sales teams 
  • Identify new opportunities to grow brand awareness and retail presence 
  • Ensure all activities are compliant with Colorado cannabis regulations 
  • Track retail visits, event outcomes, and relationship-building activities within our CRM system 
  • Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on competitor activity and consumer trends 

What We're Looking For 

Required Qualifications 

  • 1+ years of experience in field marketing, retail sales, brand ambassador, or event marketing roles 
  • Experience working within Colorado's regulated cannabis industry 
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills 
  • Comfortable speaking to groups and leading educational trainings 
  • Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) 
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and an acceptable driving record 
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends to support events and activations 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, LeafLink, Sparkplug, Learn Brands, Canva, or similar platforms 
  • Existing relationships within the Colorado cannabis retail community 
  • Experience executing retail promotions, demos, or merchandising programs 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to frequently stand and walk for extended periods during events and retail visits 
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 pounds 
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and use hands and arms for merchandising setup and product demonstrations 
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout Colorado, including overnight travel as needed 
  • Comfortable working in retail, warehouse, event, and outdoor environments with varying conditions 

Compensation & Benefits 

Pay: $58,000/annually

Mileage reimbursement
