Objective

At Mixbook, we empower creativity and deepen human connection. The Brand Designer creates engaging, on-brand assets that inspire Mixbook’s customers to create, connect, and tell their stories. Reporting to the Senior Art Director, this role collaborates closely with both the Creative and Marketing teams to design high-quality content across key brand moments and campaigns—focusing primarily on email and site, with additional support for social, display, and other channels. The Brand Designer delivers pixel-perfect creative, ensures brand consistency, and brings Mixbook’s visual identity to life across every touchpoint. Working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and content teams, this role helps craft impactful design solutions that strengthen and evolve the Mixbook brand.

You Will
  • Design and deliver high-quality, pixel-perfect creative for marketing and brand initiatives. 
  • Collaborate and contribute to and drive campaign ideation, product launches and creative brainstorms.
  • Partner with the Creative and Performance Marketing teams to ensure visual designs align with campaign strategies and objectives.
  • Collaborate with copywriters to integrate design with messaging.
  • Maintain and apply Mixbook’s visual identity across all creative touchpoints.
  • Advocate for design excellence and brand consistency in every project.
  • Design, resize, and optimize digital ads for multiple platforms and formats.
  • Troubleshoot and adapt brand elements for execution as needed.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Proactively gather project requirements and clarify timelines and deliverables with stakeholders.
  • Introduce new design techniques, styles, and technologies to keep the brand visually fresh.
  • Monitor industry and cultural trends to inform design direction.

You Have
  • Ability to tell stories visually; conveying brand personality through design.
  • Technical proficiency and mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma; photo retouching and basic animation skills required.
  • A refined attention to detail to consistently deliver pixel-perfect creatives.
  • A desire and ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams. This involves the ability to adapt your communication based on your audience.
  • Strong project management skills, including organizing work against milestones, conducting research, analyzing trends, and solving problems to drive successful outcomes
  • Comfort switching between design formats and priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in graphic design.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work is required.
  • Experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with photo editing and gif creation 
  • Experience experimenting with AI design tools is a nice-to-have.
