Who we are About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Stripe Brand Studio is a multi-disciplinary team that accelerates the awareness and trajectory of our brand. We craft the creative vision and strategy for different types of projects and audiences, and amplify them across various mediums, channels, objects to environments, and digital and physical experiences.

The Stripe brand identity team is responsible for defining and evolving Stripe’s visual identity, and bringing the Stripe brand to life in new and impactful ways across surfaces. Our goal is to enable the creation of a coherent, high quality brand experience across the user journey, building recognition and trust in Stripe at every turn. We collaborate with other design systems teams to translate our brand for Stripe.com and Dashboard, and partner with teams across the company on high impact user-facing projects to create work that feels authentic to Stripe at scale.

What you’ll do

Following our 2025 brand refresh, Stripe’s visual identity is evolving to meet the scale of our global ambitions. To maintain our high bar for craft and beauty while moving at the speed of our product suite, we are looking for a Brand Designer to lead our Self-Serve Design ecosystem.

In this role, you will be the bridge between our core brand identity and its execution across the company. You won’t just be building templates; you’ll be building a scalable design language that empowers every Stripe to communicate with excellence. This is a high-impact, high-ownership position where you will help define the roadmap for how our brand scales, ensuring that even the most decentralized assets feel cohesive, intentional, and bold.

Responsibilities
  •  Elevate a flexible, world-class brand system that exemplifies Stripe’s commitment to craft and beauty across all surfaces
  • Architect and evolve a library of assets and templates that empower cross-functional partners to ship brand-aligned work independently
  • Partner directly with the systems team to seamlessly translate foundational brand updates into the broader ecosystem
  • Define the self-serve roadmap and strategy for how non-design teams interact with the brand, prioritizing high-leverage tools and frameworks
  • Act as the creative lead for external vendors and internal producers to ensure all artifacts meet our rigorous quality standards
  • Audit and iterate on asset libraries to identify gaps and build innovative, scalable design solutions
  • Stay curious and experimental as an adamant maker, obsessed with tinkering and iterating to create beautiful things
  • Shape a strategic vision that pushes brand boundaries and builds internal awareness of design’s impact at Stripe
