Lead Fireflies’ creative direction and emotional brand identity. Develop memorable campaign concepts across film, social, OOH, digital, events, partnerships, and other channels. Translate human insights into stories, visuals, language, characters, and experiences, then guide work from concept through production and launch. Collaborate with designers, writers, marketers, founders, agencies, and creative partners while maintaining high standards for brand quality and consistency.
We’re looking for someone who can make people feel something when they hear the name Fireflies.
Someone who understands why certain brands become part of culture while others become interchangeable. Someone who can take an ordinary product truth and turn it into a story people remember. Someone with the taste to know when an idea is special, the conviction to champion it, and the craft to bring it to life.
Fireflies started by taking notes in meetings. We’re becoming something much bigger: an AI teammate that can capture what happens across your work, organize what matters, and help get the work done.
The brand needs to make that transformation feel human.
- Shape the creative direction and emotional identity of the Fireflies brand.
- Develop big creative ideas for campaigns across film, social, OOH, digital, events, partnerships, and more.
- Turn human truths about work into stories, films, visuals, headlines, and experiences people remember.
- Help build distinctive brand codes, language, visual worlds, characters, and creative concepts that become unmistakably Fireflies.
- Take ideas from concept → narrative → creative direction → production → launch.
- Work closely with designers, writers, product marketers, founders, and growth teams to bring ideas to life.
- Brief and collaborate with photographers, filmmakers, directors, agencies, creators, and other creative partners.
- Raise the bar for the quality and consistency of everything Fireflies puts into the world.
- Look beyond SaaS for inspiration — from fashion and entertainment to sports, design, music, art, and internet culture.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years building brands, campaigns, or creative work that people remember.
- Experience in fashion, consumer, entertainment, media, sports, hospitality, advertising, creative agencies, or technology — we’re open to different backgrounds.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates storytelling, creative thinking, and exceptional taste.
- Excellent writing and storytelling instincts, with the ability to find the simple idea within a complex brief.
- Strong visual taste and the ability to give thoughtful, specific creative direction.
- Experience taking ideas from a blank page through execution and launch.
- Someone who is curious about culture and genuinely interested in why some brands and ideas become memorable.
- High standards, strong opinions, low ego, and a willingness to challenge the obvious.
- Comfortable being hands-on in a fast-moving team — whether that means shaping a campaign concept, refining a headline, reviewing a storyboard, or directing a shoot.
We’re looking for the person who asks:
What’s the story?
What’s the feeling?
Why would anyone remember this?
And then knows how to turn the answer into something the world hasn’t seen before.
