We're looking for a Data Analyst Intern to join the Risk/Data team. The intern will support data pipeline development, SQL-based analytics, and data standardization initiatives under the guidance of senior team members. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with large-scale data processing in a real business environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining SQL-based data pipelines and analytics workflows
- Support data standardization and normalization projects (e.g., address parsing, entity resolution)
- Help build and optimize data models, dashboards, and reports
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis under mentorship and present findings to the team
- Assist in monitoring data quality and implementing validation logic
- Collaborate with team members on cross-functional data projects
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Solid SQL skills, familiarity with Hive/Spark SQL is a plus
- Basic proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python preferred)
- Strong interest in data analytics, risk control, or fraud detection
- Good communication skills, eagerness to learn and take initiative
- Available for at least 3 days per week, minimum 3-month internship duration
