This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Billing Operations Management: Oversee all billing operations, including invoice generation, account reconciliation, and payment processing. Ensure billing accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
2. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, manage, and train the billing team. Provide guidance and support to staff members, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle billing tasks effectively.
3. Customer Service and Issue Resolution: Address and resolve complex billing inquiries and disputes from customers. Provide excellent customer service in handling these issues.
4. Process Improvement and Automation: Continuously assess and improve billing processes and systems for greater efficiency. Implement automation tools where applicable to streamline operations.
5. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present detailed reports on billing activities, including analysis of revenue, outstanding accounts, and other key financial metrics.
6. Compliance and Policy Development: Ensure billing operations comply with relevant laws and regulations. Develop and update billing policies and procedures.
7. Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with the sales, customer service, and accounting departments to ensure a cohesive approach to billing and account management.
8. Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee the management of accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments.
9. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records and customer data.
10. Technology Utilization: Utilize billing software and other technology tools effectively to manage billing operations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in billing software and strong computer skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
