Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Recruiting Assistant to support our high- volume recruitment operations. This role plays a key part in supporting the sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates for entry-level manufacturing and general labor positions across the United States. This role will also support in continued communication and support of associate once they’ve been onboarded.
Our client specializes in national talent sourcing and high-volume placements, supporting manufacturing clients with staffing solutions that include housing and transportation for employees.
You’ll be successful in this role if you have skills and experience to:
Recruiting & Sourcing Support
- Assist recruiters with sourcing candidates for high-volume manufacturing and general labor roles
- Review applications to identify qualified candidates
- Conduct initial candidate outreach via phone, text, What’sApp and email
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and recruiters
- Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate fit and availability
- Support onboarding processes, including: Background checks and Drug screenings
- Ensure candidates complete required paperwork accurately and on time (we utilize comprehensive screening and onboarding processes to ensure workforce readiness and compliance.)
- Maintain accurate candidate records in ATS or tracking systems
- Track candidate pipeline and hiring progress
- Assist with onboarding logistics, including communication around housing and transportation arrangements
- Support recruiters with reporting and documentation
- Provide a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Answer candidate questions regarding job details, relocation, housing, and work expectations
- Maintain consistent communication to improve engagement and retention
Required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred due to diverse workforce
- 3+ year of administrative, customer service, or recruiting support experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management and follow-through
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Team-oriented with a sense of urgency
- Adaptability in a dynamic staffing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)
- Experience in staffing, recruiting, or HR support
- Experience with high-volume hiring or hourly workforce
