About the Role

In this role as a Benefits Partner on the Total Rewards team, you'll have a significant part in managing our fundamental benefits schemes and overseeing our leave of absence program, collaborating closely with cross functional partners. You'll serve as a subject matter expert within the company, enhancing processes and leading adjustments that matter. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $92,520.00 and up to $128,600.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Manage benefit program operations of our core benefits plans and leave of absence program, ensuring smooth administration and process enhancements.
  • In charge of benefits onboarding and benefits communications campaign
  • Partner with People Services to ensure process documentation and employee service delivery enablement
  • Assists with benefits cost analysis, reporting trends, and tracking utilization
  • Responsible for data integrity across our people systems, employee resources, and external benefits partners 
  • Manage leave of absence, workplace accommodation, and workers’ compensation requests in partnership with our legal, employee relations, and payroll teams
  • Assists employees with complex, escalated benefits questions as needed
  • Responsible for annual compliance submissions

To thrive in this role, you have

  • Well-versed in US/Canada benefits and understand how to scale programs and practices
  • 5-7++ years of experience managing employee benefits and leave of absence programs
  • Vast knowledge of benefits laws and regulations, including federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA).
  • Previous experience with Workday and leave of absence administrator 
  • Proficient at analyzing situations, solving problems, and managing projects.
