Creator-in-Residence

About Bedford

The creator economy now includes over 200M people globally, including ~27M in the U.S. alone, and is growing rapidly. But there is still no real institution designed to teach this in a structured, sustainable way. We want to change that. We believe that while not everyone may consider themselves a creator, everyone can benefit from the skills and mindsets that drive creator success.

At Bedford, we help individuals and organizations turn expertise into visibility, trust and opportunity through mentorship, community, applied learning and AI-enabled tools. Not by consuming content, but by building systems and habits that actually work. Bedford isn’t a school you graduate from. It’s a school that runs alongside you and evolves as you do.

About the Role

We offer three ways to engage with Bedford as a practicing creator. You can engage in one, two or all three ways, depending on your interest and availability.
1. Bedford Creator-in-Residence

In this role, your mission is to support students in applying their Bedford learnings to the real world. You lead weekly sessions, review draft content, and provide advice and wisdom and they embark on their creator journey. This role is for someone who loves to geek out about the creator craft and deeply enjoys helping others improve their practice.

Commitment is on a cohort-by-cohort basis. Each cohort is 6 weeks. Compensation is a flat fee per cohort.

2. Bedford Creator

In this role, your will create and facilitate sessions to support our learners and share Bedford's programming with a broader audience. Sessions may include workshops, panel discussions, short training videos, etc. This role is for someone with a deep expertise in their craft, who loves to share their wisdom, and who may not have the bandwidth to commit to supporting students during a full 6-week cohort.

Commitment is on a session-by-session basis. Compensation is a flat fee per session, and a success fee tied to any enrollments driven by your individual referral link.
3. Bedford Ambassador

In this role, your focus is on sharing Bedford broadly and helping us reach out to people who may benefit from our program. This role is for someone who views themselves as a networker and community builder - a person who connects individuals to helpful resources and to one another.

Commitment is variable, based on your availability and interest. Compensation is a success fee tied to any enrollments driven by your individual referral link.
