Back-End Engineer, ProductAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a back-end engineer to join one of our core product engineering teams, responsible for shipping our protocol, API, and web and mobile apps. Your work will directly impact millions of users interacting with our products.
Responsibilities- Work with team to build out new features in the product
- Build and maintain an API used by the product as well as external partners
- Communicate status, updates, blockers, etc., to cross-functional stakeholders
- Respond to incidents as part of an on-call rotation
- Participate in RFC and code review
- 3+ years of experience as an engineer
- Strong technical background building APIs at scale
- Proven track record of contributing effectively to projects
- Good communication and prioritization skills
- EU or U.S. (ET) time zone
- Prior experience building on top of blockchains
- Technical background in Python, GraphQL, and MongoDB
- Comfort moving across the stack when needed (TypeScript/React/Next and Solidity)
- Experience operating within high-ambiguity startup environments
- Good product intuition and understanding of user needs
