Description
We are seeking a journeyman-level Azure Project Manager who can also support as an Azure Business Administrator. This hybrid role requires a mix of project coordination, communication, and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to grow, and able to connect business needs with technical execution—all while working in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage Azure-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Act as a point of contact between clients, stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Support Azure administrative tasks, including subscription management, role-based access control (RBAC), resource monitoring, and governance.
- Assist with developing and maintaining documentation for processes, policies, and project plans.
- Track project tasks, update schedules, and provide regular status updates.
- Help identify risks, escalate issues, and support problem resolution.
- Translate business requirements into clear tasks for technical teams.
Required Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–3 years of IT project management or coordination experience.
- 1–2 years of Azure administration or related IT/cloud experience.
- Skills:
- Basic familiarity with Azure services (compute, networking, storage, and security).
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project, or similar).
- Ability to manage schedules, track tasks, and support team collaboration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote team environment.
