This is a remote position.
We are looking for an experienced data warehouse developer to become part of a Global Business Intelligence Team that develop and maintain the Enterprise Data Warehouse. The team also maintain the standard Dashboards and provides data support for business self-service and data analysis activities.
The ideal candidate would meet the following criteria:
· Expert in writing MS SQL queries, T-SQL, DB Designs, SSIS, DB Performance
· Expert in query optimization, error handling, troubleshooting
· Experience and working knowledge of Azure Data Factory / Azure Synapse and creating pipelines including setting up generic frameworks & standards for team
· Must have knowledge of securing Azure Components
· Experienced in Azure Synapse Analytics (Azure Parallel DW)
· Experienced in PostgreSQL
· Experienced in Apache Superset
· Experience of RavenDB or other NoSQL document databases and extracting data from them.
· Experience / Knowledge of Tableau, Qlikview or similar
· Experience in designing data strategies, migrating from on-premise to hybrid and azure based models
· Excellent communication skills
· Azure DevOps and version control systems, ideally GIT
· Excellent written and spoken communication skills
· Must have knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodology
· The ideal candidate is expected to be logical with critical thinking, be independent and a self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills.
Requirements
Any experience in the following will also be beneficial:
- Azure ML, KNIME or other ML tools and concepts
- Python
- Microsoft Fabric
