Job Duties and Responsibilities
AWSS DevOps Engineer-2 sought by DISH Wireless L.L.C. in Littleton, CO
Develop, document, and execute the DISH 5G network CI/CD automation processes. Utilize CI/CD pipelines, AWS Code Pipeline, CNF deployments, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and end-to-end automation across layers of cloud-based network functions. Configure and manage tools to deploy new features into the 5G network successfully. Create feedback loops to communicate the status of the pipeline to the stakeholders. Configure and maintain the Git Repo, Docker registry, CI tool, configuration, and deployment tools. Learn, evaluate, and implement new technologies to further our quality and delivery capabilities. Create a process to analyze logs to determine the health of the feature deployment. Design and develop state-of-the-art approaches to solve complex quality issues. Communicate with Product Owners, Developers, and Management to understand issues to address and propose solutions. Provide technical oversight of 3rd party vendor's deliverables to ensure DISH's standards are being met. Communicate complicated problems to team members to ensure alignment and successful implementation. Accountable for communicating and managing changes, ensuring the sustainability of the CI/CD DevOps process and its performance enhancement. Engage in cooperative discussions with 3rd party cloud providers and DISH regional markets to implement DISH 5G network s/w release roadmaps. Remote work permitted on an exceptional basis.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field plus 2 years of experience in job offered or as a Systems Engineer or closely related role.
