Job Overview:

As AVP Field Advice Market Leader you will be responsible for the growth and success of your allocated market. This individual will be managing a team of field-based advisors in local markets for the Wealth Advisors Group (Wealth AG) channel of LPL. The AVP Market Leader will ensure operational excellence while driving local strategies, placing client experience at the forefront of tactics, and cultivating a learning culture where advisors are coached and developed. This role will be responsible for team and market success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing market strategies to achieve key performance metrics and drive platform growth.
  • Strategically drive Wealth AG Home Office and broader Field Management coordination to ensure success cohesion.
  • Collaboration with other leaders in local markets, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Building and maintaining strong professional relationships to foster success in the market.
  • Leading and mentoring a team to achieve business objectives, grow existing client relationships, and achieve success metrics.
  • Recruiting new advisors to build out the market
  • Monitoring market trends and adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Ensuring high levels of advisor satisfaction and retention.
  • Implementing training programs for advisors.
  • Presenting and reporting on market performance and strategy to senior leadership.
  • Working across the organization to develop business knowledge and cultivate collaborative team mentality.

Requirements:

  • Series 7 and 66 licenses, 9 & 10 strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience with advice sales operations and building, leading, managing, and coaching a team of financial advisors.
  • Ability to work across internal and external organizations via strong collaboration and nurturing trusting relationships.
  • Places emphasis on problem solving that caters to clients’ financial needs.
  • Self-starter, prioritizing the clients’ best interest while maintaining strong work ethic that produces results.
  • Can effectively coach advisors, sales and operations teams.
  • Strong ability and proven track record to attract and recruit strong candidates.
  • Ability to rely on the team to create support structure that builds effective communication engaging all partners necessary to product client solutions.
  • Can hold team accountable to results by finding opportunities that drive success and interpret performance results.
  • Has strong ability to prioritize high priority items by managing time and capacity.
  • Understands that critical thinking and problem solving is a core guideline to meeting clients needs while adhering to established processes and regulations.
  • Travel required: Will vary depending on geography, up to 50%.

Preferences:

  • Experience in financial services and knowledge of financial services industry, products, and solutions.
  • Experience in both a branch and home office strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in an environment with individual and team goals where goals were routinely met or exceeded.
  • Ability to motivate employees, build teams and drive outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and respect while at the same time being able to maintain the integrity of the model.
  • A highly strategic thinker, with the ability to assess complex problems, prioritize key issues, focus on relevant facts and maintain a strong execution focus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present materials and performance clearly.

Pay Range:

$105,188-$175,313/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
