Meet the team:

You’ll join the autonomy motion team responsible for routing, planning, and control across a fleet of autonomous vehicles. We’re looking for an engineer to lead the design and development of our map system architecture, tools, and workflows. This role works cross-functionally with teams focused on infrastructure, localization, track testing, and simulation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design and build map infrastructure, including databases, APIs, and internal tools.
  • Develop scalable systems for large-scale map management, enabling frequent updates and validation.
  • Implement tooling for both automated and manual map creation, ensuring precision and reliability for autonomy use.
  • Build GUIs and visualization tools that allow users to view, inspect, and edit map data..
  • Define map validation criteria and develop integrity-checking systems to detect and respond to map quality issues.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  1. 5+ years of experience in C++ software development.
  2. Strong foundation in 3DOF spatial transformations, quaternions, and vehicle kinematics.
  3. Demonstrated experience building GUIs or visualization tools for complex data.
  4. Ownership mindset with a track record of driving projects from design through delivery.
