The Automation Engineering Intern will be responsible for implementing CAD Instruct software within the engineering departments, including creating/update programming and 3D CAD template.

This is a 16-month Internship from May 2025 - August of 2026.

Now accepting 3rd year Engineering Students.

Please be prepared to provide a resume and a copy of your university transcripts.

 

Work You’ll Do: 

  • Create engineering applications using CAD Instruct software. 

  • Using Creo Parametric to do design template to be used by CAD Instruct. 

  • Assist with documenting the programming process. 

  • Update CAD Instruct program and CAD template based on user feedback. 

You Will Learn: 

  • CAD Instruct Programming (VB based)

  • PTC Creo Parametric 4.0 and 3D CAD Design

  • PTC Windchill PDM tool for data management

  • Engineering processes and procedures

  • Hot Runner Technology and manufacturing processes 

  • Improve your problem solving, research and report writing skills 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in your 3rd year in an accredited engineering degree program and have completed 1 or more years of relevant coursework in mechanical/mechatronics engineering, manufacturing engineering, product development/design engineering, or other related engineering disciplines.

  • Intermediate computer skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Reliable transportation to and from work

  • Great collaborator
