Automation Engineer in Denver, CO - 60 percent Travel required
Be an Early Applicant
Design, implement, and troubleshoot industrial automation systems using PLC/HMI/SCADA (Rockwell, Schneider, CODESYS). Program in Python/Java/C/C++. Diagnose electrical/instrumentation issues with Fluke tools, verify control loops, field I/O, and interpret P&IDs. AutoCAD Electrical experience and AI/MQTT/IIoT integration are advantages. Position requires domestic and international travel (50-60%).

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or technical degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in building and/or industrial automation preferred.
- Basic knowledge of programming to include Rockwell Automation, and/or Schneider Electric PLC /
- HMI / SCADA platforms required.
- Proficient with Python, Java, C/C++and PLC / HMI a plus.
- CODESYS – based PLC Platforms a plus.
- AI / MQTT integration with PLCs, HMIs, or IIoT platforms a plus.
- Proficient in using Fluke digital multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers for diagnosing electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Proficient in trouble shooting instrumentation issues, including signal loss, sensor calibration, and loop integrity verification.
- Knowledge of automation control loops, field IO, P&ID’s.
- Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical Systems (MEP).
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- AutoCAD Electrical experience a plus.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- 50-60% travel may be required.
