Attorney — SaaS & Commercial Transactions
Location: Fully Remote — United States
Majesco is seeking an experienced attorney to support complex SaaS and commercial transactions across a growing enterprise technology business.

This role is ideal for a business-minded legal professional who enjoys serving as a strategic partner to the business while remaining deeply engaged in the details of sophisticated contract negotiation and drafting.

You will work closely with leaders across sales, , finance, product, operations, and executive leadership to help the company accelerate growth while managing legal and commercial risk in a practical, solution-oriented way.

The right person for this role is intellectually curious, collaborative, commercially minded, and energized by the craft of negotiating and structuring complex agreements. You know how to move deals forward, simplify complexity, and build credibility with stakeholders while still diving deep into the details that matter.

This is a high-visibility role offering direct business engagement, and the opportunity to influence how legal partnership scales across a growing SaaS organization.

About the Role

You will draft, negotiate, and execute complex commercial agreements that support Majesco’s growing SaaS business and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and structure sophisticated SaaS, software licensing, services, data privacy, vendor, procurement, and enterprise commercial agreements
  • Partner directly with sales and business leaders to accelerate revenue-generating opportunities while balancing legal and operational risk
  • Provide practical guidance on contract interpretation, liability exposure, compliance obligations, dispute mitigation, and commercial strategy
  • Draft agreements and manage complex negotiations with enterprise customers and vendors
  • Support vendor management, RFP processes, and strategic partnership activities across the organization
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, security, compliance, product, and executive leadership teams
  • Contribute legal support for strategic initiatives, including financing activities, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
  • Help strengthen scalable contracting processes, negotiation playbooks, and operational efficiencies as the company grows
  • Operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with a high volume of concurrent transactions and competing priorities

What You Bring

We are specifically seeking experienced attorneys who combine strong technical legal expertise with sound business judgment and executive-level communication skills.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 10 plus years of experience in commercial transactions, technology law, or SaaS contracting within an in-house legal department, sophisticated boutique practice, or partner-track law firm environment
  • Experience in the insurance, retirement, pension, or group benefits industry is a strong plus
  • Deep experience negotiating complex SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, data privacy, technology procurement, and enterprise commercial agreements
  • A proven ability to serve as a strategic business partner while still operating comfortably in detailed contract language and negotiation workflows
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales organizations and high-value customer transactions
  • Strong working knowledge of data privacy, intellectual property, licensing, and technology risk concepts
  • Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, including the ability to independently create and revise agreements
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and drive alignment across functions
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills in high-volume environments
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar
  • We welcome candidates from both in-house legal teams and sophisticated law firm environments with significant experience advising SaaS and technology clients

Why This Role:

  • This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and commercial innovation in a highly collaborative environment.
  • You will join a legal team that is viewed as a business enabler, not a blocker. You will have exposure to senior leadership and the ability to shape how legal partnership scales across a growing SaaS organization.
  • Majesco offers the flexibility of a fully remote U.S.-based role along with the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact commercial matters that influence enterprise growth.

As a member of a rapidly growing and dynamic organization, the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to take on new tasks and responsibilities as business needs evolve. The company reserves the right to vary, change, or update job duties and responsibilities based on business requirements. This role may require shifting priorities, learning new technologies, and contributing to projects outside of the initial scope.
