Summary:

In this role, you will provide leadership on key strategic market research topics, driving the development of insights that advance enterprise and/or business unit strategy. By leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and other research means, you will contribute to the analysis of complex data, provide interpretation of trends, and generate timely, meaningful insights through advanced storytelling and effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analyses in support of macro market trends, insights, and new opportunity spaces to drive Vizient’s strategy and perspective.

  • Lead analyses of market trends and insights for specific BUs/services, elevating insights while leveraging AI.

  • Serve as SME to BUs and OSM strategists on market trends, competitive intelligence, client needs, and market opportunities.

  • Create and present reports, memos, data analyses, and strategic insights to internal and external customers; develop and deliver effective messages and storylines in accordance with Vizient’s strategy and perspective.

  • Network and collaborate across OSM, designated BUs, and shared services departments to ensure seamless connectivity between business unit specific strategy and market intelligence needs.

  • Author thought leadership, present strategic content, and facilitate discussions related to market trends and insights aligned with Vizient’s strategic perspective.

  • Engage with Vizient customers and C-suite leaders through various channels, collecting customer feedback and positioning Vizient as the market leader in performance improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.  Advanced degree desired.

  • 10 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience with healthcare market research required; experience using AI for research preferred.

  • Strategic mindset and passion for driving timely, meaningful insights to inform healthcare strategy.

  • Advanced skills in data interpretation, visualization, and storytelling; ability to create meaningful presentations and use technical writing to convey strategic messages and recommendations.

  • Proven ability to collaborate across diverse teams.

  • Experience and desire to manage multiple complex projects, meet rigorous deadlines, and lead teams in a high-performance environment.

  • Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills to drive cross-functional partnerships, build trust, and achieve aligned goals across teams.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $156,500.00 to $290,100.00.
