Job Title: Associate Vice President, Product

This is a pivotal strategic leadership role, offering the unique opportunity to define the future of the Trimble Platform. You'll lead a large, impactful organization, directly shaping how Trimble leverages its platform assets to achieve its most ambitious strategic objectives. What You Will Do
Product Vision and Strategy: Develop, implement, and evangelize a comprehensive and compelling product vision and strategic roadmap for the Trimble Platform, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Product Management Leadership: Lead the entire product management function, including roadmap planning, feature prioritization, requirements definition, and the full product lifecycle from conception to end-of-life.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: In partnership with Marketing and Sales, define the go-to-market strategy for platform products and services, including developing and implementing effective pricing, packaging, and product positioning to ensure commercial success.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various business and functional units (e.g., business, engineering, sales, marketing, customer success) and central Trimble teams (e.g., Horizontal Engineering, Business Systems/IT, Legal, Security) to ensure alignment on product strategy and successful delivery of platform capabilities.
Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a large, high-performing, and geographically distributed organization of product managers, designers, and researchers. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Product Evangelism: Serve as a primary evangelist for the Trimble Platform, effectively communicating its vision, strategy, and value proposition to internal stakeholders, executives, customers, and partners.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Define and track key product metrics and KPIs to measure the success of product initiatives, drive data-informed strategic decisions, and report on progress to executive stakeholders.
What Skills & Experience You Should Have
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in product management, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity within a B2B SaaS company.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and scale a large, multi-disciplinary product and design organization.
Demonstrated success in developing and launching successful platform products on a global scale.
Deep experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies, including pricing and packaging.
Strong understanding of product management principles, agile development methodologies, and user-centric design.
Extensive experience working with global B2B customers and a deep understanding of their needs and workflows.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Strong business acumen, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with various cloud and data technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
