Job Duties: Review and help create policies and procedures to help mitigate conflicts of interest related to sustainability and embed sustainability into our program. Develop best practices to support our firm’s sustainability narrative and ESG related disclosures, claims and statements, including substantiation and related training materials on evolving regulatory requirements. Review sustainability-related policies, marketing, communications and white papers as subject matter experts working across L&C and closely with our sustainability partners. Develop a compliance training program focusing on sustainability and ESG guidelines and best practices. Work closely with global colleagues to help develop and ensure consistency of guidance for our sustainability stakeholders in support of the evolving regulatory landscape. Manage projects and track various sustainability-related commercial initiatives across the firm, including those related to our external commitments from our CEO and Client Letters, and our obligations as signatories or members of voluntary organizations. Provide post-delivery help to ensure that each policy and procedure have an accountable business group and robust control process. Develop a post-execution checklist of ongoing compliance responsibilities and monitor to demonstrate effective controls over a project or initiative.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business, Finance, Law or a related field; and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in legal and/or regulatory (compliance) for asset management at a global, public company. Requires 3 years of experience in each of the following: 1. Asset management business including asset management products and services: Understanding and communicating the features, benefits, and risks of various asset management products like alternative products, ETFs, Fixed income to ensure accurate and fair representation in all promotional activities; 2. Application rules and regulations in financial services: applying a range of rules and regulations specific to financial services, including those related to marketing and distribution compliance including sustainability; 3. Global sustainable investing landscape; 4. Marketing Compliance Review: reviewing marketing materials to ensure they meet regulatory standards and internal compliance requirements including conducting thorough checks of promotional content for accuracy, fairness, clearness and adherence to applicable laws; 5. Cross-border compliance: reviewing marketing materials to ensure that marketing and distribution practices adhere to regulations across multiple jurisdictions; 6. Regulatory marketing & distribution: handling all regulatory aspects of marketing and distribution activities, ensuring that all practices comply with relevant regulations and industry standards including overseeing the development and dissemination of compliant marketing materials and distribution strategies; 7. Monitoring changes in regulations and implementing necessary updates to maintain compliance in marketing materials.
