This is a strong launchpad for a long-term career in Sales Engineering

Responsibilities include:
  • Partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, uncover customer pain points, and map Netskope solutions to business and technical requirements
  • Deliver clear, engaging product demos and technical presentations to audiences ranging from hands-on engineers to security leaders
  • Support proof-of-value (POV) engagements, including environment setup, configuration, success criteria tracking, and results readouts
  • Answer technical questions and help respond to security questionnaires, RFPs, and architecture reviews
  • Build and maintain deep knowledge of the Netskope platform, including Secure Web Gateway, CASB, Zero Trust Network Access, Data Loss Prevention, and AI and GenAI security use cases
  • Stay current on the broader security landscape, including SASE/SSE, Zero Trust, cloud security, and competitive offerings
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during evaluations and work with Support, Product, and Engineering to resolve them
  • Capture customer and field feedback and share it with Product and internal teams
  • Contribute to team knowledge through demo environments, documentation, and enablement material
  • Complete Netskope certifications and our internal SE onboarding program
Job Requirements:
  • 0-2 years of experience in a technical role such as IT, help desk, systems or network administration, security operations, consulting, or a technical internship
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, TLS, proxies, firewalls)
  • Familiarity with core security concepts (authentication, encryption, threat types, data protection)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts simply
  • Curiosity, a willingness to learn quickly, and comfort with feedback
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
Desire:
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or SaaS applications (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce)
  • Exposure to identity and endpoint technologies or MDM tools
  • Relevant certifications (Security+, Network+, CCNA, AWS/Azure fundamentals, or similar)
  • Internship, co-op, or early-career experience in pre-sales, customer success, or technical support
  • Experience presenting to groups, whether in a professional, academic, or community setting
