You'll work on mission-critical space system software alongside experienced mentors. We believe the best way to learn is by doing, so you'll contribute to real features, see your code deployed to production, and understand how your work impacts end users.

You will be responsible for writing clean, scalable code, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing system performance. A strong understanding of cloud computing, APIs, and software architecture is highly desirable.

If you are passionate about technology and eager to learn, and excited make an impact, we would love to hear from you!

What makes this role exciting:

•            Ship real code in your first month - not just R&D projects, documentation or unit testing but rather features that will be used in production systems

•            Modern tech stack - work with modern technologies such as (Python, Java, Spring Boot, React, AWS/Azure, Kubernetes)

•            Collaborative culture -work with a team of fellow minded engineers on feature development

If you're excited about solving complex problems, eager to learn from experienced engineers, and ready to build software that matters, let's talk!

o            See your code go from local development through CI/CD pipelines to production environments

•            Learn Through Doing

o            Participate in pair programming sessions with senior engineers who'll teach you best practices and patterns

o            Debug issues alongside your team, learning troubleshooting techniques that work in the field, learning how to prevent similar issues in the future

•            Master Modern Development Practices

o            Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure your code works as expected (and learn why this matters)

o            Use Git for version control, learning proper branching strategies and collaboration workflows

o            Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives) and understand why we work this way

•            Expand Your Technical Toolkit

o            Gain hands-on experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture

o            Work with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) to deploy and monitor applications

o            Explore modern frameworks like Spring Boot (backend) and React (frontend) with guidance from experts

•            Grow Beyond Just Coding

o            Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and user needs

o            Document your work so others can learn from your solutions

o            As your career progresses, you’ll have opportunities to present demos of your completed work to stakeholders (we'll help you prepare!)

•            Make Things Better

o            Refactor existing code to improve readability and performance

o            Suggest improvements to processes, tools, or code—fresh perspectives are valued here

Qualifications:

Required:
