We are seeking an Associate Sales Manager, working onsite from the Colorado office for the Mountain region territory of the United States. Reporting to the Regional General Manager, the Associate Sales Manager will assist the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) within the territory to promote sales of high-quality running track products (Renner products). You'll help guide clients from initial contact through purchasing, installation, and follow-up service. Responsibilities include identifying sales leads in schools and sports facilities, building strong relationships, delivering sales presentations, collaborating with architects and engineers on project planning, attending trade shows, and managing tasks in Salesforce.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the Regional Sales Manager with daily operations and strategic decision-making

  • Drive revenue through track facility projects (GC, Design/Build, or Subcontract delivery)

  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, universities, parks, and A/E firms

  • Establish trust and credibility with key decision-makers and industry influencers

  • Coordinate proposals, budgets, RFPs, and client communications with internal teams

  • Shadow the RSM to master presentations, facility evaluations, and client engagement

  • Recommend product specs for bid documents and manage on-site facility tours

  • Plan and execute targeted sales strategies for regional growth

  • Oversee projects from pre-installation to final walk-through for client satisfaction

  • Update Salesforce daily with leads, opportunities, and activity outcomes

  • Represent Tarkett Sports at trade shows and promptly follow up on new leads

  • Maintain strong customer relationships before, during, and after the sale

  • Travel up to 50% during peak seasons

Experience & Education Desired:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience; preference in construction sales

  • Experience in project tracking analysis tools & and CRM systems (Salesforce)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
