CoreWeave is seeking an Assistant General Counsel for Commercial transactions to join our growing legal team. Reporting directly to the Deputy General Counsel - Global Commercial & Business Operations, this is a unique opportunity to shape one of the world’s fastest growing and most advanced AI infrastructure companies.
What You’ll Do:- Support our dynamic and growing Go-To-Market sales team with drafting and negotiating complex sales agreements for CoreWeave’s service offerings across a broad sophisticated customer base—from technology startups to AI Labs to Fortune 500 companies.
- Structure and negotiate a variety of other commercial agreements, including partnership, marketing, procurement, and vendor contracts.
- Contribute to the evolution of CoreWeave’s commercial contracting framework, the development and ongoing refinement of legal templates (e.g., MSAs, Terms of Service, Order Forms), playbooks, and legal process workflows to drive deal velocity and reduce friction
- Partner cross-functionally with Legal colleagues (including IP, Governance, Privacy & Regulatory, and Legal Operations), as well as with Marketing, Business Ops, RevOps, Finance, Security, and HR to support business enablement, risk mitigation and positive outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with counterparties at key strategic customers.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and GTM sales teams, offering pragmatic business-minded legal advice with customer focus and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Juris Doctor and active bar membership in a U.S. jurisdiction (or international equivalent).
- 8+ years of experience at a law firm or cloud technology in-house legal team (or a combination).
- Expertise leading legal support and commercial contract negotiations for large-scale technology platform, SaaS, and infrastructure transactions involving data centers, AI, and/or cloud services delivery.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across organizational disciplines.
- A proactive, business-enabling mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, judgment, and pragmatism.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated history of high performance outcomes and agility in a rapid-growth environment.
The base pay and target total cash for this position range from $161,000 to $215,000 and $193,000 to $258,000, accordingly. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position includes a discretionary bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
