    • Coordinate primary and secondary network routing to ensure optimized transaction flow and regulatory compliance.
    • Oversee settlement and funding readiness, ensuring proper linkage with bank treasury, processor, and network-level requirements.
    • Support network certification, testing, and profile validation prior to program launch.
  • Acquiring Network Setup:
    • Lead acquiring implementation including MID setup, merchant routing, and terminal configuration for payment acceptance programs.
    • Ensure acquiring parameters are aligned with merchant use cases, risk thresholds, and funding flows.
    • Interface with acquirer processors, gateways, and bank partners to establish clearance, settlement, and dispute resolution infrastructure.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:
    • Act as a critical stakeholder to Fintech Onboarding Managers and Strategic Partnership Managers, ensuring network setup aligns with partner onboarding timelines and strategic objectives.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal Legal, Compliance, Risk, Treasury, and Product teams to ensure proper governance and audit readiness.
    • Provide technical guidance and operational expertise to internal teams and external partners throughout the onboarding process.
  • Governance & Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, BIN/MID status, and implementation checklists.
    • Track network milestones and escalate risks or delays to ensure alignment with overall partner go-live schedules.
    • Support ongoing network maintenance, including routing updates, mandate implementations, and network relationship management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in card network operations or payments infrastructure, with deep understanding of both issuing and acquiring.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and/or other payment networks.
  • Experience with BIN sponsorship, MID configuration, transaction routing, and network settlement processes.
  • Proven track record of working with processors such as FIS, Marqeta, Galileo, Worldpay, TSYS, etc.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project execution skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on maintaining compliance and regulatory operational standards.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in bank–fintech partnership models (e.g., program management, PayFac enablement, embedded finance).
  • Familiarity with network certification processes, test environments, and production readiness milestones.
  • Working knowledge of authorization flows, chargebacks, dispute management, and reconciliation reporting.
