PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $106,600.00-$130,100.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $82,900.00 - $154,000.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, CA, VA, NC, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, or SC. If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.  For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.  

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE 

As an Associate Enterprise Project Manager, you will help bring meaningful initiatives to life that support BECU’s mission to serve our members. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams across the organization to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects that improve how we operate and how our members experience our services. Your ability to organize work, build relationships, and keep teams aligned will help turn ideas into measurable outcomes. In this role, you’ll contribute to projects from planning through delivery while continuing to grow your project management expertise. WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Project Planning & Execution: Lead or support projects, initiatives, and feature delivery across BECU business units, ensuring projects move successfully from planning through completion. 

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to capture high-level requirements and refine them iteratively through an agile, partnership-driven approach. 

  • Project Governance Support: Contribute to project governance processes and participate in steering committee discussions when needed to ensure alignment and transparency. 

  • Scope & Outcome Definition: Work with stakeholders to define project objectives, outcomes, and scope while ensuring documentation is accurate and complete. 

  • Project Work Planning: Develop detailed work plans that outline tasks, timelines, and dependencies to guide project teams through successful execution. 

  • Methodology Alignment: Follow BECU’s project management methodology to ensure consistency, quality, and accountability across all projects. 

  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain project documentation and artifacts that meet internal standards and audit requirements. 

  • Project Financial Support: Assist with project financials including budget planning, forecasting, invoice review, and tracking actuals against forecasts. 

  • Resource Coordination: Help organize and communicate project resource plans while supporting collaboration across internal teams and external partners. 

  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and challenges early, working with teams to remove obstacles and keep projects on track. 

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate work across multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure timelines, dependencies, and deliverables remain aligned. 

  • Release & Go-Live Planning: Document release plans, go-live activities, and support planning to ensure smooth project implementation. 

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve project delivery and team efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. 

  • Professional Growth: Seek mentorship, coaching, and feedback while continuously building project management expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS  

Minimum Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business or computer science or equivalent work or educational experience required. 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading projects or serving in a project management type of role developing conceptual, organizational, analytical, and problem solving with proven ability to plan, organize, schedule, and implement multiple technical and business-related projects required. 

Desired Qualifications 

  • Professional project management certifications (e.g., Project Management Professional, Project Management Certification) preferred. 

  • Agile certifications and/or relevant education preferred (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner). 

  • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments preferred.
