About the Role
The Associate Director of Sales is a mid-level sales role focused on converting inbound demand and growing mid-tier drone OEM accounts. This role is responsible for managing opportunities through the full sales cycle while building toward larger account ownership over time.
What You’ll Do
- Own inbound opportunities from drone OEMs and convert them to revenue
- Manage and grow mid-level accounts across their lifecycle
- Qualify opportunities and progress deals from interest to PO
- Coordinate with Sales Engineering on technical evaluations and demos
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and follow-up quoting activity
- Build strong working relationships with engineering and procurement teams
What Success Looks Like
- High conversion rate on inbound opportunities
- Consistent revenue from mid-tier OEM accounts
- Clean pipeline visibility and reliable deal execution
- Strong customer satisfaction and repeat engagement
Who You Are
- Proven B2B hardware sales experience within the drone/UAS industry
- Experience selling directly to drone OEMs (no channel sales)
- Comfortable managing multiple active deals simultaneously
- Strong organization, follow-up, and customer communication skills
- RF or wireless experience is a nice to have
