Role Description

As an Associate Designer with a primary focus on our Brighter Vision brand, you will play a crucial role in creating top-tier websites and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Leveraging your design expertise and customer service skills, you will collaborate with clients, contribute creative ideas, and uphold company standards. Your critical thinking abilities, coupled with your dedication to learning and growth, will be instrumental in delivering delightful interactions for our clients.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist clients throughout the Design Pipeline, occasionally going beyond to ensure timely project completion.

  • Collaborate with the Toggle and Webflow Senior Lead Designers to refine processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your department.

  • Achieve daily goals set by the Senior Lead Designers, contributing to quality aligned with quarterly objectives.

  • Become an expert in Toggle, Webflow, search engine optimization (SEO), and domain name settings (DNS) to efficiently answer and execute client questions and requests.

  • Complete daily top-tier website builds and deliver them to clients as assigned by the Design Team Lead.

  • Provide exceptional support to clients throughout the Design Pipeline, ensuring timely and successful launches.

  • Collaborate with the Senior Lead Designers to escalate and effectively address client issues.

  • Step into any Design Team role as needed to offer support based on resourcing requirements.

  • Foster critical relationships across departments and key accounts for seamless transitions and collaboration.

  • Collaborate with the Product Design Team to propose improvements and address client requests, distinguishing between valid and invalid feature requests and bugs.

  • Complete regularly scheduled design consultations with the client, effectively communicating limitations and possibilities to deliver the best results

  • Manage, maintain, and complete client edits submitted using our third-party editing tool daily.

  • Maintain projects housed in our third-party editing tool by removing projects that have been launched to ensure smooth and quick loading times.

  • Complete client edits using our third-party editing tool daily.

  • Manage freelancers' questions about edits and provide training on proper processes when necessary.

Technical Proficiency

  • CMS Expertise: Working knowledge of CMS platforms.

  • CSS and HTML: Proficient in using CSS and HTML to customize website designs.

  • Adobe Creative Suite: Skilled in Adobe’s Creative Suite for design projects.

  • Canva: Proficiency in creating quick, collaborative designs.

Design Skills

  • Creative Problem Solving: Innovative approaches to design challenges.

  • User-Centric Design: Focused on creating intuitive, engaging user experiences.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensures all design elements meet brand standards.

Communication

  • Collaboration: Works effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Client Interaction: Translates client visions into compelling designs and converses with clients regularly.

  • Clear Communication: Conveys ideas and gathers feedback effectively.

  • Project Management: Handles multiple projects and meets deadlines.

  • Detail-Oriented: Ensures all aspects of the design process run smoothly.

  • SEO Knowledge: Integrates SEO principles to improve website performance.

  • Critical Thinking: Analyzes challenges to deliver effective solutions.

  • Continuous Learning: Keeps up with design trends and technologies.

  • Flexibility: Adapts to different roles and project needs.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $50,000 USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
