Overview: The Associate Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for participating in and contributing to the development and management of ComplexCare Solutions’ (CCS) Information Security Policies and Standards. In addition, they will assist and contribute to security and/or privacy regulator and customer compliance and assurance assessments. They will communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to source and review compliance evidence during an assessment. They will assist senior team members in the development and publication of new policy or standards. They will assist in the operations of the Risk Management program, assisting or leading in the collection and assessment of information security risks. They will assist with risk review and reporting processes and risk communication to organizational stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development of security standards, guidelines, and standard operating procedures in alignment with CCS’s security policies, regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, and security industry best practices.
- Reviews and documents cybersecurity and application security risk statements and collaborates with stakeholders to risk statements are accurate.
- Assist in the management, reporting and governance operations of the CCS Risk Management program
- Participates and contributes to regulatory security compliance assessments.
- Participates, contributes and leads customer security assurance assessment requests, managing communications and escalations as necessary.
- Stays abreast of current security topics and trends, develops an understanding of security terms and definitions.
- Coordinates meetings and working sessions between security team and GRC stakeholders.
- Adheres to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within CCS’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position.
- Maintains compliance with CCS’s policies, procedures, and mission statement.
- Fulfills those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by CCS for the purpose of achieving the operational and financial success of the Company.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in an information technology related job function.
- Possession of applicable security industry certification(s) preferred.
- Knowledge of project management practices, project coordination experience preferred.
- Knowledge of various security terminologies or definitions.
- Strong independent analytic and troubleshooting skills.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in a related technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time).
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force.
- Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions.
- Subject to inside environmental conditions.
- Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally, usually for training purposes.
