The Role
We’re seeking an Associate Creative Director, Website to lead the creative direction and user experience strategy for the SimplePractice marketing website. Reporting to the Creative Director, you’ll have a direct impact on the growth and success of SimplePractice
You’ll bring together creativity, design systems thinking, and data-informed experimentation to optimize and evolve the SimplePractice website as a high-performing growth engine. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can inspire others, design at a high level, and translate insights into compelling, conversion-focused digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creative direction, UX strategy, and execution for all marketing website initiatives, ensuring the site drives engagement, signups, and customer growth
- Partner closely with and mentor the web creative team to concept, design, and deliver best-in-class user experiences across the site
- Collaborate with the Creative Director and website team to ensure seamless alignment between creative vision, marketing goals, and performance metrics
- Assist the Sr. Website Manager managing multiple web design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and prioritizing tasks effectively with the web creative team
- Create wireframes, flow diagrams, sketches, storyboards, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate the current or future user experience
- Partner with Product Design and Brand Design to maintain a cohesive customer experience across the funnel
- Ensure that web designs from the web creative team are responsive, accessible, and optimized for user experience across different browsers and screen sizes
- Maintain, expand, and evolve various marketing website design systems, elevating our website visual identity and brand guidelines
- Own the implementation of the design system in Figma and partner with the Website Marketing team to ensure implementation in visual CMS (Builder.io)
- Synthesize research insights to inform design decisions and create visualizations that effectively summarize key findings
- Participate in UX and creative brainstorming workshops to help solve for key customer journeys and conversion paths
Desired Skills & Experience
- 10-14 years of experience in interactive web design, UX, or product marketing design, ideally with a focus on conversion optimization and growth design
- A hybrid thinker: part strategist, part designer, equally comfortable discussing creative direction and conversion metrics
- Thought leadership with strong knowledge of UX processes, tools, storytelling, and best practices to apply to various kinds of products
- Ability to balance leading a team and providing individual contributions
- Extensive understanding of accessible web design
- Extensive experience in redesigning web experiences & skilled at crafting end to end customer experiences for a marketing website and at influencing cross functional teams to enable good user experiences holistically
- Extensive experience with standard design and prototyping tools, such as Figma
- Experience working with WYSIWYG website builders (Webflow, Builder.io etc.) is a plus
- Knowledgeable in mobile web, desktop web, and native design nuances
- Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and how they are used to make responsive websites
- Skilled at leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to drive decisions
- Experience working in tech and/or healthcare is preferred
- Strong portfolio of relevant work experience
Base Compensation Range
$144,000 - $180,000 annually
Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
